"Buying a home long distance is no easy task. Where does one start? Living in Orlando and thinking about relocating to The Woodlands, we started a web search and found Michele Flory's rather extensive site. Replete with many links, it was truly one stop shopping for all the info we needed about the community, housing, recreation, etc. Sending an email triggered an almost immediate response via email followed by a phone call. Next was the task of a trip to Houston to look at property. Armed with our requirements, Michele met us with an outstanding number of choices all fitting exactly what we outlined. The prepared folder on each and every home contained complete and thorough information needed to make a choice. Although she had done exactly as asked, we could not find a home that was just "perfect". Thus, we started an almost weekly trek from Orlando to The Woodlands to look at different property. Each time Michele had a folder for each home containing colored photos, descriptive wording, tax info, etc. It took us five trips to Houston and hundreds of miles on Michele s car (not to mention the time she spent with us) to make a decision on a home we purchased in June. To us, it seemed that we were Michele's only clients. The entire time Michele was friendly; never mentioning the huge amount of time she was spending with us. She was frank about pricing, vocal about certain neighborhoods, and quite emphatic to see us get what we were paying for. We have never met a person more dedicated and knowledgeable about the market than Michele. Never pushy, always honest, and never trying to "steer" us in a specific direction. Once we decided on a home, Michele took over all the negotiations as we traveled back to Orlando. Each day we would receive an update on where we were, what to expect and when to expect it. Closing was the easiest we have ever had in the 8 times we have purchased homes. I can honestly say that it was Michele and her demeanor that convinced us to move here. She was honest, truly caring about our needs, frank when she needed to be, and probably the best Realtor in The Woodlands. If we ever decide to move away, Michele will be our agent. She is truly remarkable and was a godsend in helping us choose our final retirement home."
